Miami — All’s well that ends well, right?
Right?
The Tigers, after new closer Francisco Rodriguez blew a three-run lead in the bottom of the ninth, prevailed in the 11th, beating the Marlins 8-7 in the season opener Tuesday night.
Ian Kinsler, who homered and knocked in four runs, singled home Anthony Gose with the go-ahead run.
Shane Greene, who is scheduled to start on Monday, pitched a one-two-three 11th for his first career save.
But this wasn’t how the Tigers would have scripted it.
They had a 7-4 lead entering the bottom of the ninth.
