The Mud Hens (36-45) welcomed the Indianapolis Indians (45-33) back to Fifth Third Field for the their series finale on Friday evening in front of a sellout crowd. An offensive surge by the Mud Hens gave Shane Greene (1-1, 3.47 ERA) the offensive support he needed to work through the Indians lineup for six innings. Greenw held the Indians to one run off six hits, tossing six strikeouts into the mix. Toledo was sparked by a typical clutch evening from Mike Hessman, who contributed a pair of runs and a pair of hits, including a double and a triple.
