All while not wearing a uniform, but sporting a signature look of a collared shirt, tie, sports coat, leather shoes and a Panama hat, whether toiling in the chill of the Twin Cities or the heat of Lakeland. All while exhibiting an exuberance unknown to mankind in a sport that stressed keeping an even keel.
