Jeimer Candelario showed up when the Detroit Tigers needed him most

Detroit Tigers third baseman Jeimer Candelario gazed past reliever Dovydas Neverauskas and caught sight of Harold Castro, the go-ahead run, at second base with one out in the top of the 11th inning.

Candelario surely wasn't on the Pittsburgh Pirates' watch list entering the game — he entered the game on a 2-for-21 run — not when they had to deal with two-time American League MVP Miguel Cabrera, veteran Jonathan Schoop and slugger C.
