CHICAGO -- Detroit Tigers right fielder J.D. Martinez had the cast on his right foot removed on Monday.
Martinez, who is starting the season on the disabled list, is hoping to return to the Tigers in late April after suffering a sprained midfoot in a spring training game on March 18.
