Jarrod Dyson's bunt surely riled up Tigers fans, but not Justin Verlander

Justin Verlander was throwing a perfect game. Then Jarrod Dyson laid down the perfect bunt.

And thus the potential violation of one of baseball's unlimited number of unwritten rules, albeit this was only in the sixth inning.

You do not bunt to break up a no-hitter.

Except Verlander -- owner of two career no-nos -- was fine with it after the game.

"It was a perfect bunt," Verlander told reporters afterward. "That's part of his game. I don't think it was quite too late, given the situation, to bunt, especially being as how that's a major part of what he does.
