Gregory Soto was knocked around by the IronPigs but the offense kept the Hens in it on Thursday until a bullpen eruption sealed their fate. The Hens actually led in this one early on, as a Victor Reyes RBI single in the first inning, and Jake Rogers’ 11th home run of the year in the second gave them a 3-0 lead. Rogers has just four hits in his last six games, but three of them were home runs. Unfortunately, Soto got in a lot of trouble in the third and fourth and ultimately allowed five runs in five innings of work.
