Jake Rogers homers again for the Hens, while Riley Greene shows out for GCL Tigers West

Ryan Carpenter coolly retired the side with a strikeout in the first inning of this one. Then all hell broke loose. Carpenter was eventually knocked from the contest in the fourth and ultimately surrendered 11 earned runs for the day. John Schreiber, Bryan Garcia, and Caleb Thielbar kept the Clippers off the board the rest of the way, and gave the Hens a faint chance at a comeback.

The Hens actually rallied impressively from this onslaught, racking up 15 hits and three walks on the day. Jake Rogers got them on the board with yet another solo shot, his 12th home run on the year and fourth in the last nine games.
