Jake Rogers hits his ninth home run in a Mud Hens’ loss

Tyler Alexander gave the Mud Hens six innings on Tuesday night, but that’s the only positive we can take from it. The peripherals still look good as far as walks and strikeouts are concerned, but Alexander just can’t keep the ball in the park consistently. He allowed three home runs on Tuesday, and left after six down 5-1. The Hens did fight back in the late innings.

Jake Rogers mashed a solo shot to the opposite field with one out in the seventh. The Hens went on to load the bases from there and appeared on the verge of a comeback.
