Kyle Funkhouser returned to the Mud Hens rotation and was naturally a little rusty. However, the Hens’ offense had no trouble picking him up as they blew out the Tides on Saturday. Jeimer Candelario and Jacob Robson each had three hit games, while Candelario, Jake Rogers, and Daniel Pinero each homered. Pinero has been holding his own since his promotion to Toledo, while Robson has finally perked up at the plate after a rough start to the season. As for Rogers, his average remains low, but he has 10 home runs on the year — two in the past four games — and a nice walk rate.
