Jaden Hamm sharp in Double-A debut, West Michigan walks it off

Toledo jumped out to an early lead in Round Rock but a rough outing from Andrew Chafin tied things up and the Mud Hens lost in extras.

Dietrich Enns made his second start after a sharp debut a week ago. He’s a four-seam/cutter guy with a 10 mph difference on the two pitches. That cutter acts as his primary breaking ball with 36 inches of vertical break on average. He drew five whiffs on 15 swings (32.0 CSW%) with the cutter and flashed the changeup as his main offspeed, only going to the curveball five times. Despite allowing five hits and a walk, Enns was effective, going five scoreless innings with four strikeouts.
