Dawel Lugo went 1-for-2 in the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday. Chad Huffman was 0-for-4 in the DH spot the day after winning the Home Run Derby on Tuesday. The PCL All-Stars won 12-7 over the International League. The Hens will put their half-game lead over the Indianapolis Indians on the line on Friday as they travel to Indiana for three. Jacob Turner will take on Alex McRae at 7:15pm ET.
It wasn’t a terribly auspicious Eastern League All-Star Game for the SeaWolves on Wednesday. Beau Burrows allowed two earned runs in collecting just two outs, and Kyle Funkhouser allowed a run as well as the East and West All-Stars played to a 4-4 tie.
