Isaac Paredes and Kody Clemens each homered in wins on Monday

Kyle Funkhouser was mauled on Monday night in Columbus, and new acquisition Trevor Rosenthal fared no better. That was the story of the game. Funkhouser had one of those starts where everything looks flat and the Clippers pounded him out of the game with two outs in the second inning. He was ultimately charged with seven runs. Caleb Thielbar settled things down briefly, but Rosenthal allowed three runs in the sixth and had to be replaced with John Schreiber. Jacob Robson hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth to end the shutout.
