Is there any help for the Tigers from Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens?

By Peter J. Wallner | pwallner@mlive.com

The Toledo Mud Hens haven’t finished above .500 since 2009 and, unless the hitting improves, it’s not going to change this year, either. They reach mid-season on the schedule at 32-39 and fourth in the International League. Prospects? You know the familiar names, such as Joe Jimenez and JaCoby Jones. There are others with promise (Jeff Ferrell) and others (Steven Moya) just lost. Here is a look-in at how the Tigers’ Triple-A affiliate is doing, focusing on players on their current roster.
