Tigers general manager Al Avila hasn’t completely closed the door on eventually re-signing free agent Jose Iglesias, but all signs point towards the Tigers finding another shortstop and Iglesias finding another team. With that in mind, Iglesias took to Instagram this week to thank Tigers fans for their support.
“Thank you Tigers fans for all of the support you have shown me and my family over the past 6 years,” he wrote on the entry. “I will miss u! I am grateful to the Tigers organization for the opportunity to play the game I love.
