The Detroit Tigers are running out of time in their quest to make the playoffs.
They have seven games remaining – Monday through Thursday at home against the Cleveland Indians, and then Friday through Sunday in Atlanta.
Entering play Monday, the Tigers are 1.5 games out of the second wild-card spot, currently owned by the Baltimore Orioles.
