When Miguel Cabrera returns from the disabled list -- very likely within the next week -- one of the Tigers top hitters this month, John Hicks, will no longer have a position.
Hicks, a catcher by trade, has been playing first base every day in Cabrera's absence. He's hitting .313 with three home runs in May, and that's even after he went 1-for-12 this week in Minnesota.
