DETROIT -- Jeff Ferrell didn't want to watch a replay of the line drive that hit the side of his head with a gruesome thud, sending the baseball bouncing more than 100 feet down the right field line.
But he couldn't help but glance at Twitter as he scrolled through some of the many messages of support on his phone.
"I didn't even press play, it was already playing and I saw it," he said Tuesday. "So then I looked at the full video after that. It wasn't pretty."
A day later, the Detroit Tigers reliever still doesn't feel well.
