Geese invade home stadium of Detroit Tigers' Double-A team

ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA - There weren't any SeaWolves at UPMC Park in downtown Erie, Penn. on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

But there were plenty of geese.

The home of the Erie SeaWolves, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, was invaded by a gaggle of geese this afternoon.

As many as 50 geese were spotted on the field by team personnel who snapped a few photos of the winged invaders.

Apparently, @SeaWolvesGM green-lighted bring your geese to work day. #MiLB pic.twitter.com/06zQdkt4l3

Greg Gania, broadcaster and assistant general manager for the team, noted that the geese are way out of bounds and clearly have no regard for signs posted in the stadium.
