After spending the first six games of the 2025 campaign on the road, the Detroit Tigers come home on Friday to open up a three-game series with the Chicago White Sox inside Comerica Park.
The season started with a hard-fought sweep at the Los Angeles Dodgers, after which AJ Hinch’s team rebounded to take two of three from the Seattle Mariners. Those results have them in a five-way tie for first (and also last) place in the American League Central currently.
Speaking of fellow division teams, the Sox are coming off the worst MLB season ever, and while they did not make any remarkable improvements during the offseason, there is only one direction for them to go, and that is up.
