After Saturday’s rainout, the Tigers and Yankees were scheduled to play a double-header today. However, the weather has proven to be even worse than yesterday, and the first game has already been postponed to a later date. The second game, however, is still on the docket. Theoretically.
The odds of them actually playing the second game are low.
The weather forecast for this evening in Detroit is a 70-80% chance of rain and temperatures in the low-40’s from 7 p.m. until after midnight. Essentially, the same weather that forced them to postpone games this afternoon and yesterday.
