CLEVELAND -- The Indians roughed up Michael Fulmer with home runs from Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez, sending the Tigers home with a four-game series sweep completed by a 9-3 Detroit loss Thursday night at Progressive Field.
The Tigers have dropped 11 consecutive games in the rivalry dating back to last season. Indians pitching has surrendered just 11 earned runs during that stretch, including a pair of Nicholas Castellanos RBI singles plating Leonys Martin to account for Detroit's first two runs Thursday.
Fulmer was Detroit's best chance at a win, having delivered 13 1/3 innings of one-run ball over his first two starts to the season.
