Lakeland, Fla. — A novel experiment during the 2016 baseball season that appeared to have mixed results with Tigers game-day viewers and listeners has been curtailed.
Mario Impemba and Dan Dickerson will not flip broadcast booths in 2017 as they did for 13 games in 2016.
Impemba instead will stick in FSD’s television seat, while Dickerson will remain play-by-play voice for all 162 regular-season Tigers games.
“Both Mario and Dan are great pros — I love them both dearly — and they gave Tigers fans their best effort every game last year,” said Greg Hammaren, FSD senior vice president and general manager.
