LAKELAND, Fla. — Detroit Tigers center fielder JaCoby Jones is very clear that his left wrist feels fine. In fact, better than fine. As he says often, “it’s 100%.”
Since Kansas City Royals right-hander Jorge Lopez threw a 95 mph fastball Aug. 9 that fractured his wrist and ended his season, Jones has been working to get back to the form and promise he showed in his first full season in the majors in 2018.
If Jones, 27, does that, he figures to be a part of the team's rebuild.
“It’s baseball and injuries happen, whatever,” he said.
