With the Tigers season over, and the postseason almost half completed, we are about to find ourselves once again in the long stretch of the offseason than non-fans call “winter.” With that comes all of the uncertainty and questions about who will stay, who will go, whose contract is over and if they’ll return (probably not, sorry Jordan Zimmermann), and if the team will actually spend any money before spring training.
While we can’t know who will be signed or traded over the offseason, we still have the fresh memories of 2020 — truncated as the season was — to give us a window into what to expect next year.
