Scott Harris has decisions to make.
The Detroit Tigers' 40-man roster is currently full, plus nine players on the 60-day injured list who must be reinstated after the World Series: Beau Brieske, Kyle Funkhouser, Rony García, Matt Manning, Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal, Spencer Turnbull, Jake Rogers and Austin Meadows. Two free agents — Tucker Barnhart and Daniel Norris — will be removed, leaving the 40-man roster at 47 players when the offseason officially begins.
That means Harris, the new president of baseball operations, must cut at least seven players right away.
