Eric De La Rosa powers Connecticut with a three hit game

Artie Lewicki had the RailRiders in the palm of his hand on Wednesday. However, he was pulled from the game after 4 23 innings after 58 pitches. He punched out four and walked one, while allowing just one hit. Victor Alcantara and Zac Houston had his back. The pair tossed a combined four innings of two-hit ball with seven punchouts. Houston was great in particular, dusting Yankees’ catcher Gary Sanchez on three pitches in the ninth and picking up his fourth save since joining Toledo. Leonys Martin and Dixon Machado each doubled and Machado also walked twice to lead the way to an early lead in this one, and the pitching staff had it from there.
