Drew Longley a single shy of the cycle in Erie SeaWolves win

Scores, news, and notes from the Detroit Tigers' farm system on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.

Syracuse Chiefs 13, Toledo Mud Hens 5 (box)

Buck Farmer was rocked for five runs in the bottom of the first inning in a game that didn't get much better for the Mud Hens. Farmer was able to work his way through five innings while Toledo closed the gap to two runs, but a four-run sixth inning for the Chiefs salted the game away. Steven Moya had a pair of hits and two RBI for the Mud Hens, while Jefry Marte homered off former Tigers closer Jose Valverde in the ninth.
