Detroit's hot dog created for MLB All-Star game is not what you'd expect

DETROIT - Detroit may be known for its Coney dogs, but another Motor City-inspired hot dog was unveiled ahead of Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game.

In honor of the 89th MLB All-Star Game, which will take place at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, food manufacturer Dietz & Watson created hot dog recipes inspired by each of the cities the league's 30 teams call home.

Detroit's hot dog, titled "Detroit Beef City," is a beef frank built on a focaccia roll and topped with Dietz & Watson pepperoni, mozzarella, crispy garlic and basil.
