Willi Castro is the newest Detroit Tigers prospect and, according to Brian Sakowski of Perfect Game USA, the team did well for themselves.
The Tigers traded for Castro on Tuesday, sending center fielder Leonys Martin and right-handed prospect Kyle Dowdy to Cleveland. Tigers general manager Al Avila is happy with what they're getting in Castro.
"We feel that he has a chance to be a good everyday shortstop," Avila said. "We feel that he's going to hit. We feel that he's going to be a good infielder."
