Detroit Tigers vs. New York Mets postponed due to rain; split doubleheader Wednesday

The Detroit Tigers and New York Mets postponed Tuesday's game, scheduled for 6:40 p.m., because of inclement weather at Comerica Park in Detroit. There will be a split doubleheader Wednesday for the first two games of the three-game series.

The Tigers have postponed four games at Comerica Park this season.

The split doubleheader begins with Game 1 at 1:40 p.m., followed by Game 2 at 6:40 p.m.
