CLEVELAND — The Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians postponed Thursday's series opener, scheduled for 7:15 p.m., due to inclement weather at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
There will be a straight doubleheader Friday for the first two games of the four-game series. The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 4:10 p.m., with the second game scheduled for 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
The series opener was officially postponed at 5:31 p.m. Thursday.
