Late in Wednesday afternoon’s loss to the White Sox, Victor Martinez had some words for Victor Reyes.
Reyes was on deck in the bottom of the ninth inning and would soon come to the place with an opportunity to tie the game. Left-hander Luis Avilan was on the mound for Chicago; Martinez had just singled off him to further the Tigers’ last-chance rally.
After arriving in the dugout, Martinez walked over near the camera well, and gave Reyes a scouting report.
Reyes ended up flying out to end the game, but afterwards, Martinez had more words.
