There are times in which Daniel Norris looks like an ace pitcher.
In those times, he is calm and in command, his mechanics in sync, throwing the kind of stuff that makes scouts drool over his potential.
Then, there are times in which Norris looks like a rookie.
Often times, those showings can both be seen on any given day.
Friday night was no different. Early on, there was Norris, the Detroit Tigers' over-powering left-hander with can’t miss stuff, hitting his spots and working through a formidable Rangers lineup with ease. But shortly thereafter, he reverted to erratic form.
