MINNEAPOLIS — There Tyson Ross sat, slouched in a leather chair in front of his locker stall, frustrated again.

It was hours after his final pitch — a full count fastball, down and away to a right-handed hitter for a walk — but still, he could not shake the frustration.

Sitting next to him, Detroit Tigers pitching coach Rick Anderson offered a similar message: Keep working.
