Detroit Tigers trade left-handed reliever Daniel Norris to Milwaukee Brewers for prospect

The Detroit Tigers have traded left-handed reliever Daniel Norris to the Milwaukee Brewers, a source with knowledge of the situation told the Free Press.

In return, the Tigers received 21-year-old right-hander Reese Olson, a 13th round pick in the 2018 draft from North Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia.

Norris posted a 5.89 ERA, 15 walks and 40 strikeouts over 36u2154 innings in 38 games this season. He has pitched for the Tigers since 2015, when the organization acquired him at the 2015 trade deadline with lefty starter Matthew Boyd for right-hander David Price.
