Detroit Tigers tickets will soon be for sale, but leave your neck gaiters and cash at home

Detroit Tigers fans will have the chance to get back into the Comerica Park stands.

Don't expect any sellouts quite yet and don't forget your debit card.

Limited ticket sales to Tigers games will begin Thursday, the team announced Friday. Just under 8,200 seats, about 20% of Comerica Park's capacity, will be sold. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Friday eased coronavirus-related restrictions on outdoor venues (while amping up testing for high school sports, the believed source of several COVID-19 cases).

Several changes to mitigate the spread of the virus are in place as well including cashless purchases, mask requirements — no neck gaiters or bandanas — and a "gameday wellness survey" that much be completed by each fan.
