The Detroit Tigers completed their trade of Mike Fiers to the Athletics yesterday afternoon. The final player to be named later received from Oakland was RHP Logan Shore per reports. Our own Andy Patton broke down what Tigers fans can expect from the right-handed pitcher.
Beat writer Anthony Fenech writes that the Tigers are getting a competitor in their acquisition of Shore. The righty struck out 74 batters last season while playing in the Athletic’s farm system. The prospect is just 23 and was a second-round draft pick two years ago out of the University of Florida.
