For the past two days in Tiger Town, the Detroit Tigers manager alluded to potential free agent additions that could be on the horizon. Maybe a first baseman. Maybe a catcher. Maybe, he said on Wednesday afternoon, an ace starting pitcher. For five bucks.
“There’s guys out there that we’ve talked to before that still don’t have a job,” he said.
