The Detroit Tigers have signed two of their five draft picks, according to the team.
On Wednesday, the Tigers announced they agreed to terms with third-round pick Trei Cruz and fifth-round pick Colt Keith.
Cruz, a Rice shortstop, signed for $900,000, and Keith, a Mississippi high schooler, signed for $500,000, according to MLB.com’s Jim Callis.
The slot value of Cruz’s pick was $857,400; the slot value for Keith’s pick is $426,600.
