On Thursday, the Tigers signed their second-round pick, Ohio State junior catcher Dillon Dingler.
Dingler signed for the full slot value of the No. 38 overall pick, $1,952,300, according to Jim Callis of MLB.com.

Dingler, 21, is considered to have high-upside potential at catcher, with developing impact power and elite athletic skills. Dingler hit .340 with five home runs in 13 games for the Buckeyes in 2020.
