Detroit Tigers general manager Al Avila brought in significant minor league depth over the offseason.
Many of Avila’s signings are currently in Spring Training battling for a roster spot. These include the likes of Omar Infante, A.J. Achter, Alex Presley and Edward Mujica.
Now, it seems as though Detroit has brought in even more minors depth.
The team’s public relations Twitter account tweeted the following on Monday morning:
“The Tigers announced today that the club has signed INF Danny Muno and OF Matt Murton to minor league contracts.
