Over the course of his lengthy career, Colón has donned the uniforms of a third of the league’s teams, racking up years and years of service time in the major leagues. His most recent stint in affiliated baseball was as the Texas Rangers’ fifth starter in 2018, resulting in a 5.78 ERA over 146.0 innings pitched. Although he’s over a year removed from his last showing in the bigs, the Tigers should be the one to give him his chance.
