The full rosters for the 2019 MLB All-Star Game have been announced and Shane Greene will be heading to Cleveland to represent the Detroit Tigers next week. Despite it being a difficult season for the Tigers, Greene has undoubtedly been a bright spot with several dominant performances coming out of the bullpen.
At age 30, this marks Greene’s first career All-Star selection and is the only Detroit Tigers player receiving such honors this year. The righty’s 22 saves for the Tigers this season places him at fourth in all of Major League Baseball and tied for most in the American League with Cleveland’s Brad Hand, who also received an All-Star selection.
