The Detroit Tigers have their first two arbitration-eligible players signed.
A person with knowledge of the situation says the team has settled with utilityman Andrew Romine at $1.3 million for 2017. According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the team has also settled with right-handed reliever Alex Wilson at $1.175 million.
There are four arbitration-eligible players remaining. Today is the deadline for teams and players to exchange their arbitration figures.
The Tigers eligible for arbitration are third baseman Nick Castellanos, shortstop Jose Iglesias, right-handed relievers Bruce Rondon and Alex Wilson and lefty reliever Justin Wilson.
