The Detroit Tigers are sending an impressive pack of youngsters to the Arizona Fall League.
This year, the Tigers will have at least six players participating, highlighted by prospects Daz Cameron and Jake Rogers, who were acquired a year ago in the trade that sent Justin Verlander to the Astros.
Also playing on the Mesa Solar Sox are right-handers Sandy Baez, John Schreiber and Eduardo Jimenez. Outfielder Danny Woodrow was also announced on Thursday morning as a participant.
Cameron, 21, ascended from Class A Lakeland to Triple-A Toledo this season. Combined, he is hitting .
