It's not a bad time to be a Meadows.
Austin Meadows, 26, was the last player to be added to the Detroit Tigers' roster this spring, when GM Al Avila pulled off a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays for the power-hitting outfielder.
Now, his younger brother, Parker, who has been in the organization since he was drafted in the 2nd round (44th overall) in 2018 is coming off the best week of his young professional career.

Parker was named the Midwest League Player of the Week for April 11-17 after going 8-for-27 with two home runs, four doubles and three RBIs in six games for the Detroit Tigers' High-A affiliate West Michigan Whitecaps.
