LAKELAND, Fla. — Free Press columnist Jeff Seidel caught up with Beau Burrows, one of the Tigers top pitching prospects for a quick question-and-answer session.
Burrows, 21, made it to Double-A Erie last season.
QUESTION: What was your experience like at Erie last year?
ANSWER: “It was nice. I felt like I was playing real baseball. The game was a lot faster, the players were a lot better. It was nice to play with some older, more experienced guys, and see how the hitters approached hitting. It made me a better pitcher.”
Q: When you are a young guy and you see the Tigers go to a youth movement, what do you think?
