The Detroit Tigers made a couple of roster moves just hours before the start of their day-night doubleheader against the Chicago White Sox at Comerica Park on Tuesday.
First, the team placed Jeimer Candelario on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to Monday, with a sprained left thumb. To fill his spot on the roster, the team called up fellow infielder Dawel Lugo from Triple-A Toledo.
And for the doubleheader, the Tigers designated pitcher Matt Hall as the 26th man for the active roster.
