Detroit Tigers pitch first combined no-hitter in team history against Toronto Blue Jays

The Detroit Tigers pitched a combined no-hitter Saturday at Comerica Park, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0.

Matt Manning, Jason Foley and Alex Lange joined forces for the franchise's ninth no-hitter, first combined. It's the 20th combined no-hitter in MLB history.

Manning grabbed his second win of the season after pitching 6.2 innings with five strikeouts. Foley and Lange each added a K and Lange got the save.

For the final out, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. popped a hit toward third base, where a defender picked up the ball out of the dirt and tossed it to first baseman Spencer Torkelson, who raised a fist in celebration after completing the play.
